The weather cooperated with us and the controlled burn in the L Lake wetland went ahead. It sure was satisfying to see! Conditions in some parts of the project area were not good for burning but a lot of it was further rolled by the marshmaster machine. Kudos to project partners Nature Conservancy of Canada / Conservation de la nature Canada, Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority, Municipality of Lambton Shores and of course us – Lambton Shores Phragmites Community Group. Contractor Wildlife Specialists Inc. was amazing!
